How to Get Here
Tiree is the outermost of the Inner Hebrides situated off the west coast of the Scottish mainland. The island is a four hour ferry trip with Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries from the port of Oban.
If you are driving up from the South then your best route is to bypass either Edinburgh or Glasgow and continue through to Stirling on the M9. Just beyond Stirling you will come to a junction for the A84 for Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. This will take you to Crainlarich and from there on towards Oban. The last two hours or so of the road can be quite nasty so allow plenty of time if you are running for a ferry deadline.
Ferries run daily during the summer timetable and every second day during the winter.
Alternatively you can fly to Tiree with British Airways from Glasgow Airport. The flight is around forty five minutes and flights are daily bar Sunday.
